Launching December 1st!
Over the latter half of the year I’ve been extremely quiet on social media as far as Hard Decora goes forgoing my New Year’s goal of producing a product per month mostly because I wanted to make Hard Decora: The Comic my top priority. My hard work has paid off and I finally have a date for it’s release on Webtoon, January 5th! If you haven’t read the comic and want to know what it’s about click here to go to a summary or pick up a copy.
The reason it took me so long to launch this is because this project means more to me than anything I’ve ever made for Hard Decora. It’s literally the impetus of this brand and I wanted to make sure this Webtoon addition wasn’t just some after thought project. I will be posting monthly with the hopes of upping my frequency based on support from Patreon. This project also means I will be moving the focus of Hard Decora from apparel and accessories to this comic. Don’t worry, I will still make those things and leave items I’ve already created on my site for purchase, it just won’t be as often and a lot more of my posts will be centered around my comic rather than outfit photos. More blogging will also be coming your way. This was a huge scary decision on my part and it would mean a lot to me if you stuck around for those changes.

PRINTED COMIC ADAPTATION
The Webtoon continuation of Hard Decora: The Comic will include a vertical scrolling version of what’s been printed so far which took forever but I think it was worth it. For those of you who bought the physical copy there are elements like the bonus comics etc that will not be shown in the Webtoon version and of course printed comics are so much cooler in the long run. I change a couple things, like Kamikaze’s name and maybe some wordage of like two word bubbles maybe but otherwise you’re all caught up until EP 6. The first 3 Episodes will come out all at once, whether you’ve gotten the physical or digital copy please show up to follow my comic on launch day so you can join in when the time comes!

NEW STORY ART

EP 6 is where the next chapter of the comic begins. I made sure to use a combination of my printed comic adaptation and new work as a buffer so I can keep this shit running on time. I tried posting on Tapas weekly some years ago and I quickly couldn’t keep up with it. THAT IS NOT HAPPENING THIS TIME I SWEAR TO GOD! LIKE THIS COMIC OR FUCKING BUST! Anyway….
Since some time elapsed from the making of the printed work and new work my art style has updated a little. I got some new equipment too like my iPad Pro with Apple Pen and it’s been amazingly helpful with my drawing speed and accuracy. I can see my art style growing even more as this project goes on and I can’t wait to share that journey with you.

MORE BLOG POSTS AND PATREON
This blog post kicks off a few that I will have over the next two weeks giving further details about Hard Decora: The Comic which include a detailed character inspiration post and a post taking a peak at new characters to be revealed. On Instagram I’ll be hosting a Drawing in Style Q&A Live where I show up in decora, draw, and answer your questions about anything under the sun.
At around EP5 I will launch my Patreon which will have some other goodies to tack onto your reading. Ya’ know, something to look forward to.
